I’m Izzy Lala,

An author, artist, and performer. A woman of many hats and colors – but ultimately I’m just me.

I come from a family of mostly Latina women and have been privileged to know their struggles and their beauty – as well as my own. It has been through this background and history that I have been able to create and perform the art that I have.

I’ve created this blog to shed light on our beauty and expressions of beauty.

I believe beauty starts from the inside out, and this blog is meant to celebrate that beauty.
