A poem, and how to listen to a hurting friend

Here’s a short poem drawing from my previous post, “How to listen to a hurting friend.”

In this previous blog post, I talk about how to listen to a hurting friend, especially during times that are challenging. Sometimes it’s hard to do that because of what comes out of a hurting person, or because you simply don’t understand what they are going through. But here’s a short poem titled, “Her Eyes,” that sort of references this topic ,and I hope it will help you see what I’m talking about a little clearer.
